Environmental Pollution: Causes & Consequences

 All the living beings inhabit in the nature. Because of modern urbanization, industrialization, over-population growth, deforestation, etc environment has been changed adversely. Pollution refers to the contamination of waste products which we find in our environment. It means the degradation of quality and quantity of natural resources. There are different types of pollution caused by human activities. They are air pollution, water pollution, soil pollution and sound pollution. 
        Pollution is mainly resulted by human activities. The main causes of pollution are over-population growth, urbanization, industrialization, deforestation, industrialization, deforestation, modernization, migration, use of pesticides, and lack of public awareness. Mostly, we can see pollution in urban areas where population is increasing rapidly. The density of population in cities is very high. Many people are emigrating to cities for various purposes. The waste products, vehicles and industrialization in cities are main causes of pollution, air pollution and sound pollution as well. People are destroying the jungle for various purposes. Deforestation promotes air pollution. Most of the people are uneducated. They are not adequately aware. They pollute the environment in various ways.
        In order to control pollution, we can apply many preventive measures and solutions. Firstly, the degree of public consciousness should be promoted. Urbanization and industrialization should be well planned. Afforestation and reforestation programs should be implemented effectively. The existing forest should be preserved. Emigration to cities should should be discouraged. Pesticides should not be used in farms heavily.
        The main causes of pollution are human beings. If we are responsible to make this earth a suitable place to live. We have to try to stop pollution which is growing rapidly. The government should decentralize all the facilities and opportunities all over the country. Then, the prevailing pollution in urban areas can be lessened.
